    Case in point to above:

    Mac Read is now 8-4 with a 0.79 ERA with 103 Ks in 71 IPs. He has basically the same stats he had last year when he went 9-1 on a 27-3 team. Difference this year is that Lumberton starts two sophs and a frosh on the infield and can't hit its way out of a wet paper bag. He has lost one game where he gave up three hits (Ashley) and another where he allowed two (South View).

    Tigers pitching continue to stay strong. Bats are starting to come around also. Should be a good tournament.
