The All-Star Game portion of the Classic will again be televised where the rosters are comprised of the “North All-Stars”, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware’s All-Stars vs. the “South All-Stars” Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Carolina’s All-Stars players.

What College Coaches are Saying about the Mid-Atlantic High School Baseball Classic "Battle on the Ship"

"I have been to many showcases and I have found that the Mid-Atlantic Showcase will give college coaches a look at quality players that fit all programs. It is well organized and attended by many top prospects on the east coast. Any coach who attends will be satisfied. It is at the top of our list."

Barry Davis, Head Baseball Coach, Rider University

"The Mid-Atlantic Showcase has grown into one of the Top showcases on the east coast and continues draw premier players from our region. We are honored to be the host venue for this first class event. Lou's primary objective is exposure for young athletes and this event certainly gives athletes a tremendous opportunity to showcase their abilities to college and pro scouts."

Terry Rupp, Head Baseball Coach, University of Maryland

"The Mid-Atlantic Showcase is a "goldmine" of high school prospects. Any coach can fulfill his needs in one weekend."

Craig Antush, Assistant Baseball Coach, Youngstown State University

"If you are a player, parent, or coach planning summer showcases, then The Mid-Atlantic Classic is a must attend. Lou Holcomb has put together a talent laden showcase that is one of the highlights of our recruiting calendar."

Chip Schaffner, Pitching Coach, Radford University

" The Mid-Atlantic Showcase had a significant number of Division I prospects and of the 5 players we signed in the early signing period 4 were at this showcase. Certainly the number one showcase in Maryland and rapidly becoming one of the top showcases in the Mid-Atlantic area."

Mike Gottlieb, Head Baseball Coach, Towson University

Using The Board as an Advertizement Tool

Why do we continue to let people sign up for the board and do nothing but use it as an advertizing tool to promote an indivdual agenda? I thought by now we would have learned not to do this. Or must i remind the Board Keepers of past indiscretions???????

Do you not feel that there is a parent/player out there that may be interested in this? I'm not a fan of this type thread, but if one person is interested, is it not worthwhile?

...and couldn't this have been handled through a PM versus posting your displeasure on the board?

I agree Braves. If 1 player gets an opportunity, it's worth the board space.
