At The Yard is an awesome website for anyone considering the professional ranks. Brad Delbarba who has been in scouting for 13 years answers some really big questions. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Based on a quick scan, it looks very good.

I've read a few of his articles and the information is very good. Good basic answers to good basic questions.

    I agree...some good tidbits also.

The one thing I found a little confusing was how to adopt "honesty" to go along with not telling them(scouts) everything....so what does he recommend that should be withheld?

    Interesting reading.

Braves......I think he was saying you shouldn't tell all you know.......not be dishonest. Save a little for negociating leverage...:D

The thing I read was that a prospect shouldn't comitt to a certain round or dollar amount that he would require to sign for.

I understand the concept of what he is saying, but I wanted to read some specific things he had in mind to save from discussions.

....then he goes on to say it is illegal to discuss financial specifics before the draft, but they ask anyway? Honesty is honesty...goes both ways.
