Eye Black Styles

    Watching many baseball games from High School to Professional, I have seen many different styles of the "eye black." High School and college is mostly where you see it, and I was just curious of which styles of eye black you prefer. Do you like the one thin stripe, the very thick stripe, the think stripe, with the kind of like "horns" look down the side, or what. Feel free to post, just thought I would bring this up after seeing one of the wildest eye black styles I have ever seen...just put it this way, I do not think I could see any part of the kids actual face...

    eye black

    Personally, I prefer the single, thin strip. However, this weekend I saw a new one. Under each eye, the player marked an "x". Something different that didn't look too bad!

    Regular, one strip under each eye. None of this battle paint crap.

    LOL I'll bet you still wear stirrups & sanitaries. Not crap to me, but kids are just being kids... Personally I like the war paint mentality.

    It's just another way for players to draw attention to themselves.

    My vote (not that I get one) is just the single stripe.

    Has anyone seen a MLB player with eye black running down their cheek like war paint? If you wear it like that you don't look like a ball player. If your going to wear it put a thin or thick line under your eye.

    I love stirrups, especially if striped. And yes, I'm 19.
