    I agree wholeheartedly! The "war paint" stuff is a little much.

    Hey Braves....did they have "eye black" when you played or did you have to use a piece of coal to get those black marks under your eyes:satana:

    Most of the time the "eyes black" were the result from baseball brawls...but coal worked nice to cover some of it up.

    Get a piece of cork from a wine bottle - burn the end of it.

    Make sure you let it cool (LOL) - then use it.

    It works well.

    It was black grease paint in my day. The Women's College World Series had some interesting styles. The stick-on strips with something in the middle of it looks like another pair of eyes.
