    Dear NC Coaches,

I am looking to do major updates to my high school field. I will be hoping to add a 10 inning full size scoreboard, a turf skirt around home plate, fungo and on-deck circles, and turf for my newly concreted batting cage. I have found the on-deck circles and a couple sources for the home plate skirt. I wanted to find out if anyone could help me find sources for the scoreboard, home-plate skirt, and the lowest price turf for the batting cage.
If anyone has a phone number, email, or web site address that could help me as I start getting quotes, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Truthbetold

Yes, there is a member of the board that does this. I'll have him post what they offer. He's a great guy!

Call the PEPSI or COKE distributor let them battle it out with sponsorship money for a new scoreboard.

Turf Sources - I can personally vouch for any of them.

    Lance Rosenberger - Medallion Athletic - Mooresville - 704-660-3000 - [email protected]

    Patt Underhill - Carolina Courtworks - Charlotte - 704-392-6556 - [email protected]

General Sports Venue - Rich Stucky - Matthews - 704-849-9030 - [email protected]

Tell them Mark Meeks from SportsEdge told you to call.

As for the scoreboard, shoot me a PM with your location and I'll get you a couple quotes. I carry Sportable and Nevco scoreboards. You can check out our full product line at www.sportsedge.com

Yep, but the money starts flowing when you "play" pepsi against coke.

    Scoreboards....

Our Booster Club just bought 2 new scoreboards for baseball and softball from this company. Very good prices for a brand new board!! Could not find them cheaper anywhere else. They were delivered to our doorstep within 3 weeks.

We chose not to go with the 10 inning board simply because the price goes up a bunch (and you don't really need it). The 385 model looks great!! The LED numbers show up very well in bright sunlight. You can also purchase a wireless control (which we have).

Good luck if you go to Pepsi and Coke or any of the suppliers!! Watch out....there is usually a long term contract involved with those boys!!

Better check the schools contracts. In WSFC system Pepsi has it and Coke or any other beverage company could not do it if the put one at every school. I would look at local guys (multiple) that would lessen the amount per sponsor. Make it a five year ad plan. "It is harder to convince one, than it is to convince many." You can qoute me on that one.
