On Deck teams kick off their fall season in Charleston this week-end!

On Deck 18's won both games today. Play two more tomorrow. Ben Buchanan and TJ Worrell both pitched. Drew Martin hit the winning run in!!

GREAT MOCKSVILLE FALL TOURNAMENT MOORESVILLE DEFEATED MOCKSVILLE FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP. MOCKSVILLE'S KEY PLAYERS HAD TO REPORT FOR FOOTBALL PRACTICE AND MISSED THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. MOORESVILLE WAS LOADED WITH SEVERAL ROWAN COUNTY LEGION PLAYERS. GREAT TOURNAMENT AND ALOT OF TALENT. LOOK FOR ALOT OF GOOD BASEBALL THIS FALL.

Mocksville Davie Fall League

Does anyone have rosters from the teams in the fall league? It is hard to put names and faces together without numbers.

 

Is Mocksville playing with Davie County HS players or is it mixed with players from their legion team?? I saw several Forbush players playing with them this past weekend are they playing all fall?? Have they transfered to Davie or still at Forbush?? The players I am asking about are Martin, Hutchinson, and Leal?? Just curious because these players could make Davie Strong next year if they have transfered.

 

FROM MY UNDERSTANDING MOCKSVILLE IS BASICALLY RUN THROUGH THE LEGION PROGRAM WITH MOSTLY DAVIE PLAYERS WEST FORSYTH HAS IT'S OWN TEAM. I BELEIVE SOME OF THE PLAYERS FROM FORBUSH ARE PLAYING ON THIS FALL TEAM. RUMOR HAS IT THAT SOME OF THE PLAYERS ARE PLANNING ON TRANSFERING TO DAVIE OR WEST FORSYTH.

 

The left handed pitcher for N.Forsyth is pretty good .
He kept the Raiders handcuffed for the most part in a pitchers duel . Austin Carithers went 4 or 5 innings giving up 2 unearned runs and 2 hits . The Raiders won the game 3-2 to take the double header.
Daniel Moore was the starter in game one and went about 4 innings . Raiders won by about 8 runs.

Both teams were a little rugged on defense.
