    Coach 44, Matt Payne is not a member of the fall team at Davie County. He has played there for the past few years. He does however work out with them when he has a chance so that he will be in better shape to play with the Red Sox on the weekend. He did however play on Monday of Labor Day Weekend one game in which he was the DH and pitched to the last batter of the game just to get a little work. Hope this helps clear up things.

    Anyone / teams going to be in Greenville
    next weekend 19th-21st? Just looking

    Barnstormers

    Fall Ball East Showcase

    Do you have the schedule for any of these teams? Top Players on any of them? I know that Pitt Co (which is Rose kids) plays Friday night at 6pm vs it says Clayton (GRFB south or nouth ?I guess) at ECU. Game #2 Sat. at Pitt CC 2:30 vs Durham (GRFB south or nouth ? I guess). Game # 3 Sat. night 7 pm Guy Smith Stad. vs Barnstormers. Game # 4 Sunday 2:00 vs Uhw. Anglers at Rose High Field. Any info on these teams would be great.

    For next weekend's showcase I believe GRFBL teams are not splitting into North and South but each team (Durham, Clayton, Wakefield, East Wake, Sanford) is playing it's own schedule.

    Durham plays Clayton Saturday at 9 at Gary Smith Stadium
    Durham plays Pitt County at 2:30 at Pitt Community College

    Durham has kids from several schools. Off the top of my head I can think of East Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, Orange, Burlington Williams, Ragsdale, Roxboro, Northern Durham, and Riverside.
