    Any team interested in coming to Eastern North Carolina to play at Wesleyan College and Barton College, Historic Stadiums Fleming (Wilson) and Memorial (Tarboro) this fall send me an email to [email protected] for more details.

    Aug 29/30 "TBR's" Back to School Event (Wood Bat)

    Sept 19/20 "Qrecruit" Event

    Oct 10/11 "College Club" vs Showcase Event

    Oct 24/25 Megastars "Oktoberfeast" Event (Wood Bat)

    These are the planned tournaments at the moment. More could be added or the dates could be changed if teams are interested.

    There'll be no "Qrecruit" event until Stretchy contacts Scott(Boras) to get me to sign off on using that name. Scott had to check to see if there were any trademark violations with this name, especially this particular spelling. Luis, or NCSU82 may have been the one that originally termed my targets as "Qruits". I liked it so much that I decided to get that term, and some variations trademarked. Boras said I'd probably have to settle for "Qruit" because he had discovered a challenge to the "Qrecruit" version. Something about the letters "ICU" being imbedded in the spelling. Oh well, I'm sure he'll want me to sign at the last possible moment.

    One special bobblehead out of the 500 will say "I can get you an address in the district"... the lucky holder of this one bobblehead also wins use of a free U-Haul for the Weekend, a years supply of boiled peanuts, an FTD Welcome TO Town Basket, 25 dollars in Bojangles gift certificates AND a free school backpack in the school colors and emblazoned with the new, IMG designed Qruit logo...

    Of course, we all know what colors the backpack will be in. I'm a subscriber to the RM newspaper and from the comments that I have read on there....QRuit is a very popular man. I wouldn't cross him.
