    I talked to CometFan this past weekend and give him heads up on some players for you. Mo is doing great. She's having a pretty good summer our team just keep coming up short on the hits. See ya.

    USSSA World Series

    Congratulations to the 14U Mixed Forces team on their 2nd place finish in the USSSA World Series. 62 teams from around the country competed in Orlando, FL. this past week.
    Mixed Forces' Laurel Gregg was named the Outstanding Pitcher of the tournament.
    Tournament Defensive MVP went to Mixed Forces' Haley Pace.
    The following Mixed Forces players were named All Tournament First Team:
    Laurel Gregg
    Haley Pace
    Jamie Burwell
    Jordan West

    applause: R=Green]undefined[/COLOR] Congratulations to the Carolina Cobras 14u in Statesville last weekend.They lost their 2nd game in the tour,& played their way back to the championship & double dipped the Lookouts to win it all!!!!!
    Would also like to send out a big congrats to the 16u Crushers,& the 14u Mixed Forces on their World Series finishes. They represented our state very well.I believe NC has come a long ways in a short amount of time in being competetive in these National Tours.Way to go ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Go Cobras !!!!! :xyzthumbs

    Congratulations to the 14u Carolina Curve Gold team for their 9th place finish out of 117 teams in the 14u division. Due to rain and delays the Curve forfeited Sunday games. Several were dissapointed that they didn't get to play the tournament out, but was very happy with the 9th place finish. Congratulations to all North Carolina teams for their strong finishes. We are very proud of you!!

    Carolina Curve Blue 14U

    Curve Blue did a great job in the Nicole Bowman Tournament 8/8/04. Went 5-0 and led every game and never looked back. Awesome job by a great bunch of athletes. 1st out of 16 teams.....:applause:Congrats to ALL of our Sister teams also.....:applause:
