Cavs, I was in Dallas today from around 11am to 4pm. There was some good 14 and 16 and under teams in the tournament. Like you said it was hot. If it hadn't been for the shade trees I don't think I could have lasted for more than 1 game.
I would have stayed for the 6pm, but had to get home to see the race at Bristol. Good tournament that Amanda and Chuck put on in Gaston County. Hope the rain holds off tomorrow.

I think about all of them read TBR, but don't know if they are members or not. I've heard several say they enjoyed the informative post on TBR. Dennis is like myself. He goes anywhere they may be playing softball.

Hey there Comet Fan,Happy late Birthday.Enjoyed talking to you Sunday, as always. The Cobras won their game in a nasty playing field, with the rain coming down. You left at a good time.Just to let you know the Cobras will be playing 16u in Concord,(AAU), Sept.18th weekend. They will probably go the 16u route rest of year, to get these freshmen ready for school ball.I feel like they play better ball when they compete against the older gals anyway.I really enjoy TBR,& talking to all the other softball nuts out there.Go Cobras !!!!

Thanks so much softball nut. I always enjoy seeing and talking with you. I love to watch Morgan and her teammates play ball. They have a great team, and a really nice bunch of parents and fans. Hope to see all of you again soon.

Well folks, the softball season is almost over. I’ve enjoyed seeing these ball slinging angels all season long. If it’s the good lord’s willing and Lake Norman don’t rise, I will be at softball fields all over the Carolina’s watching games next season. I will report back here to TBR, scores and observations as I have in the past. I hope that everyone will tell their friends about TBR. The more we get the word out about this forum the better. This forum is viewed by the media, college scouts and coaches, NCHAA, I-High.COM, softball players, baseball players, and I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if members of the US Olympic Softball Team has view this forum. So get the word out. There’s no telling who may be watching our ball slinging angels. Looking forward to seeing all of you next season. Remember girls to practice all you can during the off season.
