Sweet Home Alabama, Thunderstruck (probably one of the best walkout songs, especially the intro)..just a couple to help you out!

    Sorry

I also did not mean for my previous comment to offend.
Favorite ballpark songs: Load Up The Bases, Shot to Thrill, Hells Bells and of course Take Me Out To The Ball Game.

Also coaches should start teaching their players to speed up the game. College ball has instated a clock for pitchers and batters. Current rules require pitchers to start their delivery in no more than 20 seconds without runners on base. This rule remains and an umpire will be required to monitor and enforce this time limit. Additionally, in non-televised games, umpires will enforce a 90 second limit between innings.

    Go Get'em Truth

Great post and I admire your explanation, though IMO none was needed. We come from one of those schools with highly trained baseball players and many will go on to play at the next level. They all enjoy the process of picking their walk up songs and they have a good time with it. Music for the ballpark is good! Being from New England and a Red Sox fan I am partial to anything by the Drop Kick Murphys, especially "Shippin up to Boston" and "Tessie"....have fun putting your playlist together and best of luck to you and your team this season....

    Truthbetold, .....three questions:

1 What ballpark are you talking about?

2 What is a walk up song?

    and, 3. Why do this?

1 What ballpark are you talking about? Just a small town high school field... not a "park"

2 What is a walk up song? The song you hear when a batter is walking up to the plate. We also use them when we bring in a new pitcher from time to time.

and, 3. Why do this? For fun I guess, and to fill the dead times in the ballgame. You gotta have something playing during pitching changes, why not make it something they like. The walk up songs are just 5-10 second clips as the batter approaches the plate.

I like it, one song I could suggest is Glory Days by Bruce Springsteen. It might bring some more people to the games if you make it a little more entertaining, lord knows, some of the teams could use some more people in the stands. I just caught where you already had Bruce, how about Black Betty sung by Ram Jam in 1977, used to hear that one in all of the AAU tournaments.
