    new member...have read alot of posts and know there are some very intelligent posters...I need to upgrade my daughters glove...she is 14 plays 2nd base and is a smaller girl...anybody have some recomendations

    Nokona with the Velcro... probably in 12 inch if she is only going to play second... move up to 12.5 if she will see time at any other position. I would not get to Kangaroo leather.. too light IMO.

    One of the best things about Nokona is that you can send it back to the factory for repair at a reasonable cost. I did this twice with a catcher's mitt and it came back in wonderful shape.

    My dd has had 2 Nokona's and a Worth Liberty. Good gloves all....and worth paying a bit extra to get one that last a little longer.

    Nokona, yep, awesome soft leather glove for sure.

    The Wilson A-2000 has been around for 30+ years, my DD has it now, JMO.

    fish you are really dating yourself with that 2000 model Wilson! That was THE glove back when I was a kid... in the late Cretaceous.
