As I see more and more fields, it seems that there is a wide disparity with field sizes. I think it's a good thing and adds character to the game. I've seen in the Charlotte area RF and LF corners being as short as 303', while most I've seen are somewhere in the 330+/- range. Myers Park has the deepest center field at I believe 405'. A hit that might be well out of one field could be a long out at another.
What are the dimensions of the fields around the state?

Its not posted but CF at Elkin HS is at least 420! It maybe be 440 in an odd angle set up that looks like an old Polo Grounds configuration

Old school field, used to be the football field also, hence concrete bleachers in the outfield.

compared to most of the fields (HS) that are used for the WWB's at East Cobb, many of our high school field are too small. There is a reason kids get drafted out of HS from Georgia, scouts know they can hit, they have seen them do it!
We have fields that are 350' to 360' in center and 300' to 310' down the lines. This just inflates numbers (and egos) and makes folks wonder why the local stud doesn't get drafted or signed.

320' down the lines and 385' in center IMO would be good minimum distances. If you ain't got room, build a tall fence or wall to make up the difference.
