    did you see this? ump called a Japanese player out when she did not immediately return to the 1st base bag after the ball was returned to the USA pitcher / Cat. This was after a flyout to RF. Cat was in the circle w/ the ball, but I thought the call was very "picky" and not a way to end a world championship.

    USA won 3-0.

    What about the call when Bustos was batting and runners at first and second. Ball hit to third baseman stepped on third and threw Bustos out at first for double play. Ump ruled ball was hit off Bustos leg and called it foul ball. Thus Bustos hit in 2 runs. Replayed showed that the ball was not even close to her leg. BAD CALL UMP.

    Final out...

    IMO, the whole team of umpires did a very poor job; especially considering the importance of the game. Just goes to prove that you can find bad umpiring at any level, not just NSA/AAU!
