    Wakefield falls

DH Conley beats Wakefield 6-0. Aubrey Eddins and Zach Quate, both App. St. signees, started for each team respective team. Both pitchers had two hit shutouts going into the fifth when an error on a bunt, missed fly ball and passed ball gave DH Conley two runs. Wakefield missed thier best opportunity with the bases loaded and no outs and did not score a run. Then it all went down for Wakefield. Two more errors, two base hits and three passed balls gave DH Conley four more runs in the top of the seventh. Kudos to Eddins and Quate because they both performed exceptionally well and will make fine additions to the pitching staff at App. St next year.
