I didn't. I have loyalty...plus I knew he would win the game with a walkoff 3 run homer. I guess I should have told him before the game to save the rapid speed of his thumping heart.

Thanks for the compliments guys... we were fortunate in the end, many prayers of mine were answered tonight with this one. I owe it all to my boys!!
    They bailed me out tonight.

    EF - 000 100 0 - 1 5 0
    PER- 000 001 3 - 4 7 1

    WP - Jerrod Moore JR/RHP (4-2, CG, 1 run, 0 ER, 2 K's, 2 BB's)
    LP - Ryan Sprinkle (8-3, CG, 4 runs, 4 ER, 9 K's, 1 BB)

    Leading Hitters:

EF - Andrew Flynt (3-3, run), Tyler Hanover (1-3), Joe Orenstein (1-3)
PER - Robbie Byrd (3-4, HR, 3 RBI's), Blake Bowes (2-3, 2B), Dustin Reaves (1-1, RBI), Jerrod Moore (1-3, run)

IN a pitcher's duel at Person, pinch hitter Dustin Reaves hit a 2 out single to drive in Blaine Newton, who had reached on a third strike wild pitch and advanced to second on a walk to Aaron Campbell. IN the bottom of the 7th, JD Coates was hit by a ppitch to start the inning, Moore singled and Robbie Byrd hit a 3 run home run to end the game with 0 outs.

This was a well played game, and it was a shame that someone had to go home with the loss. East Forsyth is a fine young team and they just did not get any clutch hits when they needed them. The ROCKETS were very fortunate to come out of this one with a win tonight and will play Friday night at West Forsyth, a 9-0 winner over Northwest Guilford.
