Florida Showcase: Gift Certificate

With Christmas upon us, Most Valuable Player is providing everyone with a $100.00 Gift Certificate to be used towards the Florida Showcase/Evaluation which takes place over the Martin Luther King holiday weekend on January 15/16, 2005 in Jupiter, Florida, at the spring training home of the St. Louis Cardinals and Florida Marlins.

There are three things to understand:

1. As you know it is the quiet period for the D1's. However, if they work
for Most Valuable Player they can participate.

2. DII's and JUCO, as well pro scouts can Scout the event.

3. The event itself is broken into three events; 1) clinic Saturday Morning,
2) Pro Style Workout Saturday afternoon, and 3) psuedo games Sunday.

Each of the Florida Coaches will be responsible for a set number of kids.
There job is to evaluate them. As part of the evaluation they are going to
identify what they do well, and for the things they need work on, they are
going to identify what they need to do to improve/correct their weakness.

Once the evaluations are completed we are going to forward them to the
majority of the colleges throughout Florida, especially those that are not
able to attend because they are playing games the following weekend.

The coaches from Florida Atlantic, Broward, Barry, Lynn, are the ones
performing the evaluations on behalf of Most Valuable Player.

Most Valuable Player Evaluation's do more than tell you your strengths and
weaknesses; the State of Florida's most highly regarded collegiate coaches
will provide each player with recommendations for improvement. What a better way to increase your skill level, and have first hand knowledge of what
College Coaches are looking for.

Hi Al, it's nice to have you visiting our website from the HSBaseBallWeb...

For those not in the know, Al works out of Maryland and sees most of the talent in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Northern Virginia region.

They are located about halfway between DC and Annapolis.

I've enjoyed your posts over on the HSBBallWeb and hope you will be a visitor for us here in the Carolinas. Tom Rizzi joins in occasionally also.

Appreciate the Welcome Mat

I certainly appreciate the southern hospitality, especially from the college coaches in NC, as well the players I have had the opportunity to work with and/or been fortunate to see play.

Please know that I will gladly answer any and all questions about any program I am associated with, or gladly give my opinion regarding any program I may have some knowledge about.
