    Great job!!!

Final 8 , thats awesome. Its going to be a long day tomorrow, I hope for the Dirtbags. Two games to get to the championship game. Hopefully three more wins and a National Championship.

Its great to hear about the young guys on that team making such a huge impact. Good luck tomorrow I hope you take it all.

I like the fields down there and it's certainly fun for the kids to play against top competition, but I think it's a little absurd that something like that gets called a "national championship" where there are twenty something or more similar showcases. Seems like a gimmick.

Does not matter what you call it, It is by far the best competition in the nation in one location and certainly the most talent in that age group assembled in one place for one tourn..... I am ok with the title, "national championship."

It sounds like the best underclassman event out there but I see your point Collin. Especially since so many cannot attend due to missing school or other sports activities. However I think everyone agrees that it sounds like a magical place.

    Uh Oh! Collin......that wasn't nice.

These "gimmick" tournaments in Ft. Myers, Jupiter and in California are the most scouted in the U.S. each year. Compare the 2007 List of HS Players Drafted to the World Wood Bat and Perfect Game Lists and you will see the same kids on both lists!

300+ scouts in Ft. Myers this go 'round. Stop that hatin'. True there are scouts in Greenville too (a couple of them live there). Just not 300+ at a time.
