FRANKLIN DEFEATS TC ROBERSON

    The rematch is the last game of the reagular season May 10 at Roberson. This time around I'm sure you'll see Josh Thrailkill on the mound vs Savaiko...probably one of the best pitching matchups of the year.

    You're correct Mudcat, Franklin is undefeated in conference and TCR is 5-1. Roberson has Tuscola at home and Erwin on the road this week. The rematch is the last game of the regular season, May 10 at Roberson. You can expect to see Thrailkill vs Savaiko in that one.

    To my knowledge Savaiko hasn't committed yet, but I'm sure there are several schools interested. Last night he topped out at 89 MPH and sat on 86-88 with his breaking ball in the mid 70's, but most impressive was his ability to challenge hitters with the inside fastball.

    One question, why would TCR throw Thrailkill against non-conference A.C. Reynolds the previous day when they had an undefeated conference foe in Franklin the following day. Do you think coach Smith is second guessing himself now?
