    Nothing wrong with basketball or soccer, well I don't now about soccer. It's totally in the way.

    There are some very good basketball players out there who are also good softball players, ie. Ali Ford and Jasmine Conley of Freedom. They play a lot of minutes on winning, playoff type teams.

    I do think there are a lot of mediocre basketball players on bad teams wasting their time on basketball because they are much better softball players, but what can you do?

    We all use to play 3 sports in the old days, but that's probably not the best way anymore.:thinking:

    3 sport stars are a thing of the past. Kids who can compete in multiple sports today are true athletes and are very rare. I'm kind of parcel to the workaholics who make themselves competitive in a sport they love. No substitute for enthusiasm combined with hard work and a bit of ability.
