    I had a great time today at the Freedom Super Saturday. I went down to Freedom to watch the first set of matchups. Scouts from Carolina, Va Tech, West Virginia, Miami and Florida along with many others were there early in the morning.

    Granted I spent a majority of my day at Table Rock Middle School, the one thing that stood out to me was how the field was guard dominated. True post-up big girls were at a premium. I would assume across the state the number of upperclassmen post players are down compared to normal.

    The 3-point line has really changed the game over the years. I saw enough 3-pointers fired up by teams like Weddington and East Rutherford to last me a lifetime.

    In regards to the Northwestern 4A, that race (maybe not at the top) but just below the top will be interesting to watch evolve.
