    How bad did Freedom end up beating Watauga - a team that might have negative net yardage on offense for the entire season (but has played good D especially considering the D is always on the field).

    Since the Chargers were off I headed to Blanton Stadium to check out the Golden Lions again. I'm glad Crest already has their win vs Shelby. This Shelby team has the makings to be a very special football team. So many weapons on offense, big and strong on the lines, a fast defense, and a kicker that can hit 50 yard FG's.

    :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: how bout them cougars!!!!!!!!!i spoke to coach deal thursday and he told me that he felyt like they had a good chance friday nite. they are still a good team with oppents overall record being 19-1. my ? is, how many people out there had this friday nites game with east burke and achs for 1st place in the conference?????? only the blue and gold backers !!!!!!! congrats coach deal and coach harper and all of the staff. all the long hours and hard work in the weight rooms and practice fields are showing up on friday nights. you now have a shot at the lead in the conference ,go out friday and make that statement again against e burke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go cougars!!!!!!!!!:laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1: :xyzthumbs
