I have been watching this young man play baseball since he was 9 years old. I remember him playing for the South Wake Storm as a 10 year old and knowing then that he was going to be a very special baseball player. Few hs players have the tools that this guy has. He is a big strong athletic player that can run throw and hit with power. Recently he was ranked by Impact Baseball as the #5 08 player in the state of NC. Cam will be heading to NC State in the fall and should make an immediate impact in the program.

I will be making sure I catch some games in Raleigh next year to not only see Cameron but Pratt Maynard from South Granville as well. Good luck the rest of the hs season Cameron. And good luck at NC State as well.

As a FV fan I have watched Cameron do some unbelievable things.
In 2004, as a freshman, in a tournament in Pinehurst I saw him in 1 game hit a HR righty, then 1 lefty and he came back with another one righty. I think the 1 he hit lefty is still going.

Last year at Lee County I was setting behind home plate and he hit one to left field, I lost the ball because it jumped out, so I watched the left fielder. He just stood there looking up, and he stood there for about 5 to 10 seconds, just looking up. After the game some parents who were sitting down the left field line told me the left fielder, while still looking up said to the center fielder "Did you see that?" We were told later by a gentleman from Lee County that he paced it off and the ball had gone about 550'.

This past Friday night against Laney, I was in a similar spot behind the plate and Cameron hit one to left, that jumped out so fast I again looked at the left fielder. This one didn't make it out, but had to be in the air a good 15 seconds.

He has unbelievable power, speed, a great arm and complete knowledge of the game.

    Best of luck Cameron!!!!!!!!!!!!!
