Game 2 N Davidson vs S Caldwell

I only have one comment before this game and it is to the Caldwell Co. bunch. If you live in Caldwell County and don't come to this game you need to sell your house and move. LOL

 

What a great series. I think South will do pretty well tonight due to Maddy at home and the fact that ND threw White last night. If I were them when I was up 8-1 would have yanked him. At least then he could close tonight.

The kid that came in after Brown for South impressed me. Other than the bomb he gave up he didn't allow anything else hardly.

Hopefully tonight North will bring a ton of fans because there gonna need it. The entire county of Caldwell will be there tonight.

Please, Please tonight all fans act with diginity and respect. Also remember if you encounter a fan of either school who is acting like a idiot. Don't stoop to their level. Last night I saw an adult flip some students off, remember you are the adult.

The type of crowd, size of crowd, Deal stadium, Bumgarner on the mound ( and he likes Deal stadium ) He played middle school ball at Deal. All of South's kids love to play at Deal Stadium. They grow up dreaming of playing on this field because of the great tradition that's been created around Deal and Caldwell County. I'll go out on a limb, no way South loses at home. South Caldwell players are use to playing in front of huge crowds and that my friends makes a big difference.

Are they playing at Deal or the HS

 

I have heard nothing about playing at MS Deal Stadium tonight. The Lenoir News Topic says the game will be played in Sawmills and not Granite Falls so this should mean SCHS. If I hear anything different I'll post it.

 

At the HS, I just went to put some seats out, the only problem was I had to move a bunch already behind home plate..... but I did relocate them out near the score board in right field... JUST KIDDING! Should be an interesting evening to say the least. Good luck to both teams. Finish it tonight SPARTANS.

 

Its at South High School...sorry about that ...I thought it was going to be at Deal. Went to put my seats out and it was locked up. Should be at Deal stadium, its big enough to handle a big crowd. Again Sorry

Bring it to Watauga's field...that's a nice neutral site.

 

After the drive home late last night I figured I would get ahead of everyone and put my chairs out to get a good seat. I had to walk through the dark woods around the outside of the ballpark and enter through the lower gate. I was hoping I didn't step on a snake or fall down the embankment into the creek below.

The crazy thing is when I was walking back out I start hearing all these voices off in the distant woods. I couldn't see a thing so I wasn't sure what was going on. Come to find out half the county had the same idea as me. Several of us spread out a blanket and we thought for a moment about sleeping on the concrete steps in anticipation of the big do or die rematch.
I finally came to my senses and figured I had better get well rested to save my energy for tonight's game.

I expect the largest crowd in SC's storied history. Anybody who loves baseball should come out to this game tonight. It doesn't matter if you do not support either school. I have a feeling tonight's game will be special and will create lasting memories for a lifetime.

 

i expect nd to put the ball in play often and sc better be ready to play some solid defense or the old deal where if it can go wrong it will go wrong will bite you . just take care of business. play hard and thats all you can do. enjoy these chances are special. hope both teams bring their a game and let the chips fall where they may. good luck to both teams.
