While looking to see who on the Carmel MS v. Community House MS baseball game. (Bear with me on my story. I know, no one cares about middle school.) I happened upon the exact boxscore that i was looking for in GameChanger (https://www.gamechanger.io/home). Thanks alot Carmel coach and scorekeeper.

I was wondering if anyone else was using this software.? ( I noticed other schools, showcase, and travel teams are using the service: Carmel MS, South Meck HS, South Charlotte Panthers, etc.)

    Looks like it has...
    - an iphone and android app, an ipad app
    - a website to view stats
    - live stream, email and txt alert subscription.
    - and even spray charts, and more advanced stuff, first pitch strike%, etc.
    - fee for monthly (7.99) and yearly (39.99).

It even has a filter for "official scorer". Which might help cut down on the inflated batting averages. Ok, let me know what you think.

I know Baylee started using it. Not sure how he liked it.

Many people like iScore. It has most of the same features (all scoring plus spray charts, pitch tracking, score casting and twitter, etc. and is 9.99.

We used the software at East Cobb last year and I have two people who swear by it. The Carolina Ravens Blue team will be using it this summer.

It a very well thought out package that is easy to use.

A lot of teams in the Triad use it and seem to like it. Nice to keep track of other games while watching your game. Some coaches score it live while others go in and put the game in the software after the game is over. Seems to work very well. Nice if you are out of town also.

    good, but nothing is foolproof

Good software and fun to use on Iphone.

You can still cheat the scoring so the "official" scorekeeper can't be a "just a dad" ---(sorry, couldn't resist!)

Software is online and can be configured to post to facebook and twitter, and also to share directly with folks designated by user.

Biggest problem I have found, and there may be a solution that I haven't found yet, is entering the opposing team on the phone itself. Would be nice if you could enter an opponent on the computer instead. I can't seem to find that option online on the computer.

Fun thing is that the artificial intelligence creates a post game wrap-up based on the scoring. After reading a few of them, the key word here is "artificial" --- there isn't much intelligence.

Go ahead and buy it (it's free!)

Coming from Peter Griffin, I'll take it.

Now if Brian starts on me....well, then there will be trouble.

Not all of us are smart enough to keep batting averages, points and pop times in our head! Some of us need technology!

Started using it this year at St. Stephens. We have kept a paper scorebook as well, but none of us have looked at it all season long. The software is very user-friendly.

There are really only 2 things that I am slightly disappointed with.

    1. As someone mentioned earlier, inputting opposing lineups can only be done via the device ie. Ipad, Iphone, etc. Really not a problem the second time through the season and it is just a minor inconvenience.

    2. I wish that media outlets would have an easier time getting our info. Gamechanger allows you to set up automatic emails once the game ends, however, only "subscribers" are allowed to see complete statistics. While this is how the company makes their products available at no cost to coaches, it would be nice for newspapers and websites to be able to use the information provided by the software without a hassle.

Honestly, those are 2 very minor inconveniences of a wonderful program. We won't use a paper scorebook ever again.
