    Havelock downed New Bern 4-2 tonight in Big East play. Sean Noble (LHP, '05) went the distance for the Rams. Trevor Heath (RHP, '03) took the loss for New Bern.

    Fuquay Update

    Fuquay defeated Cary 5-0 last Tuesday. Honeycutt picked up the win going 6 innings allowing just 2 hits.

    In the Lee County Tournament Fuquay topped Asheboro 9-4 with Price getting the win allowing 4 hits.
    Fuquay beat Pincrest 18-2 in the 5 innnings. Soph. T.L. Bradley got the win giving up 3 hits.
    In the championship game Fuquay's Adam McLaurin got the win against Durham Jordan 9-3.

    Just this past Tuesday Fuquay met conference rival Green Hope and came away with an awsome win 12-2. Honeycutt pitched a 1 hitter allowing 2 unearned runs in the first off of a couple of errors. Fuquay hit 7 HR's including 4 in a row, tieing a state record. Fuquay is now 14-0 and headed to Lee County this Thursday.

    Fuquay is now 15-0. McLaurin, Price, and Lewis went deep; McLaurin got the win allowing 1 hit and striking out 11.

    Honeycutt picks up the win and improves to 6-0 allowing an unearned run.

    Fuquay(16-0) takes on Milddle Creek on Tuesday and Triton on Wed.

    Note: Fuquay is ranked #15 in National Baseball America Poll and #11 in Student Sports National Poll.
