Paying $1 more a gallon is cheap when you factor in the potential savings of a college scholarship.

My son's scholarship was funded from the academic side, but it was offered because Belmont Abbey wanted his baseball game. It will amount to almost $100,000. I can justify paying $3 a gallon for gas & eating stale hot dogs & sitting in hot dusty ballparks when the payout is that rich.

Heck No, Braves.........we'll all just pile in the Tarleton's truck and head on up to Hickory!!:bananalam

I figure they can afford it more....being that Dallas is their only youngun'. By the way...you going to "scout day" Friday?? If so, I guess you'll be in good company with all the other daddies (and perhaps, a few moms!!)

    See ya' soon.....RSPM

Braves....I rather pay the gas prices than staying home with the long "Honey Do" list. See you at the ballpark! :woot:

Thought I'd think this over while we drove down to Charleston for the Diamond Devil Labor Day Tournament. .... it didn't stop us now and it won't next weekend either - though those games are closer.

No problems for me. But I did notice the usual price spread between gas in SC and NC didn't exist![IMG]

As Red Bear replied getting gas was no problem. I didn't see any stations closed, but did see one station with gas was as low as $2.99 in North Charleston. ... Yes, it was after I had already filled up at $3.19.
