Gaston Christian Lady Eagles NCISAA 2A Champs

    Gaston Christian captured the NCISAA 2A championship for the first time in school history after defeating Kinston's Parrott Academy, 6-2 on Saturday.

    Caitlin Campbell got the win in all three games tossing a three hitter with two strikeouts in seven inning of work in the championship game.

    Campbell, Faith Wilson, Jessi Burgess and Shelbie Hall had solid efforts at the plate for the Eagles in the title game.

    Campbell, Hall Kelsey Burgess and Hyatt Causby collected All-State honors for Gaston Christian (16-6) which is coached byh Greg Beckham, "the infamous" Greg Christopher and Barry Causby.


    Way to go girls, fantastic job!!!!!!!!!
