North Gaston vs. Maiden, 3 p.m.
South Point vs. North Lincoln, 5 p.m.
Ashbrook vs. Cherryville, 7 p.m.

Thursday
Seventh-place game, 1 p.m.
Fifth-place game, 3 p.m.
Third-place game, 5 p.m.
Championship, 7 p.m.

 

How do you determine who plays for Championship if 3 or 4 teams win the first two games?

 

1) head to head
2) runs allowed
3) runs scored
4) coin toss

at least thats how they did it last year.

i see the key games in all of this as
NG vs Maiden
SP vs Cherryville
SP vs NL

anyone know anything about maiden?

the SP-CV game should be game of the day tuesday.
CV win should be an easy walk into the title game.
SP win and could be an intresting time in the tie-breaking room.

 

maiden 4-7 starting 6 freshmen
played a very tough schedule : st. stephens , fred t foard , w. lincoln and bandys, s. iredell , east burke in conference

 

inrsting. this could be the most wide open tournament ever.

well this actually couldnt have worked out better if it were a true tournament format. 1st place will be 2-0 vs 2-0 and 7th 0-2 vs 0-2 and then the tie breakers will settle 3rd and 5th place games.

i'll be at sb for the 1st 2 games (ng-Maiden, FV-Linc) then to baseball for NG-SP

slug fest. two good teams in a rematch that proved the first game was not a fluke.
