Any info on how good Ashbrook. They must be good with that kind of record. Who are their team leaders? With that record they may make ECH look silly.

East Chapel Hill has an EXCELLENT coach in Phil Woodell! He has taken this program from nowhere to a title contender after getting his start down east in the state! He has a team of overachievers who believe in themselve along with a couple of pitchers that can throw with anyone! DON'T be too cocky GA.....

Well, Ashbrook had 18 players selected for All Conference..isn't that right SPD?:)

They are a young team led by 3 Junior State game players:

    Wes McCall
    Drew Martin
    Sammy Asis

...all 3 can hit and hit with power

    The "O",

Nobody's being cocky. ECH and Ashbrook have both made improbable runs through the playoffs to get to the championships, beating teams that no one thought they could.

Ashbrook is a young team with only one senior. So if ECH has two seniors they're twice as experienced as Ashbrook!

Ashbrook has three pitchers who "throw strikes", but none like Jon Cantrell. Just like ECH, Ashbrook has managed to get a timely hit when needed.

Bottom line...this should be a great matchup and I'm looking forward to being there.

    To Coach Parks:

We made it to the Championship series in 1977 at Huss but fell short. Bring home the Championship this time. Good luck "Peanut."

I agree with Braves on the tri-factor of Ashbrook. At one time or another I have seen each of these players show what they can do on the field. Drew Martin is one of the best 10th graders I have seen he gets it all done in all aspects of the game. Good luck Green Wave.
