    Central Cabarrus pitcher Gina Allen received a well deserved honor today, being name the 2006 NC Gatorade Player of The Year award for softball this year. Gina is not only a true talent on the field but one of the nicest people you will ever have a chance to meet off the field.

    Well Deserved

    Congrat's Gina! IMO, there isn't a more deserving player in the state. Not only are the things you do on the field that are amazing, but it's what you have done in the classroom, at church and away from softball that make you such a quality young lady.

    Bmac2 and I both look forward to spending another summer with you and your family on the road. Way to go!

    I tried to view the Gatorade.com website but couldnt get anything maybe someone else will have better luck. Not sure if that would have anything or not.
