    Let's use this thread to post about games, scores, schedules and any other happenings in girls middle school basketball. I'm sure girls BB at the middle school level may not be big on most people's radar screen. But it sure means alot to me and mine. Let's hear what's goin' on!

    All right, I'm gonna kick this off then. The Wilmington Christian Academy MS Girls kicked off their season this evening with a 32-15 win at Myrtle Grove Christian School. :13:

    The WCA Jr High girls moved to 2-0 with a very physical 26-24 come from behind, home win over Harrells Christian Academy.

    Both West McDowell and East McDowell are 2-0 early in the middle school season. Foothills Conference play starts up beginning tomorrow. West McDowell will host Table Rock while East will host Heritage.

    East and West McDowell battle Thursday afternoon at West.

    Wilmington Christian moved to 3-0 with a 28-10 victory at St' Mark's Catholic.

    The WCA Patriots Jr High girls moved to 6-0 yesterday with a 43-5 rout of Friends Academy. The girls play again tonight against Myrtle Grove.

    Congradulations to East Alexander Middle School 7-3 regular season co-champions in conference and tournament champions. Kaylea Payne, Lauren Elder ,Brianna Elder,Moriah Cockrell, Courtlin Hartness.

    Congrats to the West McDowell Lady Spartans for winning the Foothills Conference Season Championship. The FC Tournament will begin Thursday at the higher seed. West will have a bye being the top seed. Semifinals will be Monday Feb 11th at the higher seed and the Championship will be Tuesday Feb 12th at East McDowell.

    Sounds like a great season. Congrats to West and good luck to all in the tournament. The WCA Lady Patriots finished tied for first with Harrells Christian Academy for the Southeastern Middle School Conference regular season title. Both teams finished 13-1 in the conference and split their head to head contests. The tournament began last night and will conclude with the championship on Saturday. The Lady Patriots took a 26-9 decision over Cape Fear Academy in the first round last night. Second round action takes place on Thursday.
