Gold Team

I just wanted to take this time to address the thread about the "New Gold" Team.

This is not a rumor. Rodney and I have decided together to move in a new direction. This was a mutual agreement after many discussions. We under no circumstances are splitting on bad terms. We just both felt the timing was right. We had the Gold Team, the Lady Blues Organization and the players/parents in mind when making this decision. We felt it was the best decision for all. So the Lady Blues will not have a Gold Team moving forward. They will continue with their 18a team and younger teams that are currently in the organization.

So technically it is not a New Gold team, we just will not be part of the Lady Blues. We will finish the Fall schedule as the Lady Blues Gold and will move forward from there. This will have no impact on scheduling at all. We will continue to play the same type of schedule we played this last summer with a few new additional tournaments. We will begin playing under a new name when the fall season is over.

I would like to personally thank Rodney and the Lady Blues for allowing me to coach in and be a part of this organization. Rodney brought me in over 3 years ago and for that I am thankful. I would also like to thank them on behalf of my players and parents.

Rodney and I are both confident in the decision we made together and look forward to what it will bring to both of us and our teams moving forward.

I hope this answers some questions and will help stop some rumors.

Very well said, this is what we did and that is the end of story. No need for additional comments. The Blues will continue to put out a quality product with class and professionalism. O and his team will be very competitive and will continue to blaze a path for future NC players. Please friends on the board let it go there is nothing else to talk about.
