    Great article...good job "O" !!

Question?...Reggie Sanders has had some of those most consistent seasons each and every year. He obviously is a class act and must be a good teammate in the clubhouse. I'm wondering why he keeps getting traded every year and in some cases multiple teams each year? You would think that a team would want to keep someone that is a producer and a high quality person.

    Reggie

7 teams in 7 years for Reggie. Playoffs for whatever team in 3 of the last 4. Averages about 25 homers and 80 RBI per campaign. BUT -- he's never played more than 140 games in a season. He's brittle. Maybe that's why no one will make more than a one year investment.

I believe it's more the number of K's he logs a year is the reason he moves around so much. On the seasons when he is relatively healthy (120+ games) he's always over 100 K's for the season. Strike-out to walk ratio is nearly 3-1 which is very high. He's not a true power guy, so you need a higher percentage of balls-in-play.

When you add the two in together, he's a great fill-in for a team that has a need due to injury or waiting for some one to develop in the minors, but not a go-to guy at the plate, which is what you need in the corner positions in the OF.
