Even though it hasn't felt like it, it is winter, and that is when a good baseball book can get you through until the season starts. Here are a few recommendations...

"Three Nights in August" LaRusa's book. Especially if you've already
    read "Moneyball"

"Wild Pitch" by Mike Lupica. This is a funny book from the author of
"Bump and Run" and "Red Zone"

Any of the baseball books by George F. Will, He's smarter than most of us and brings a scholarly view to the game and it's history.

The last book is called "Dollar Sign on the Muscle". You'll have to hunt for it, but it is the best book I've ever read on scouting and the "baseball men" involved in bringing players into the game. You can also learn what these guys look for in a player.

Remember... reading is good exercise for the brain! That way, when you get old, you won't drool on yourself as much.
