    I love this post.

In Charlotte, there are not many long time historic eateries, but two come to mind: Coops Chicken just what you think it is..great fried chicken
The Diamond hole in the wall restaurant serving home cooked meals...outstanding

    What-a-Burger

SuperJon,,,,,,,, there are at least 4 What-a-Burger restaurants in our immediate area (Cabarrus/Iredell County),,,,,,,, one in Mooresville, two in Kannapolis, and one in Concord.

    Make that 5,,,,,,,,, Mt.Pleasant also has one.:kid:

Western Forsyth Post 522 in Lewisville/Clemmons, has one of the best Wing joints in the Triad. It is only about 1/2 mile from the field. (West Forsyth HS) It is called Ronni's. They don't have all those flavors that the chain places have, just mild, medium & hot. Not only are the wings great, the pizza is good to.
Check it out the next time you are in Clemmons

This might be the best thread ever. Seriously, when I visit the areas, I remember the places mentioned. That's how I discovered Bridges in Shelby (the one closest to town)
