    On Deck would like to congratulate Byron Haag(2010 Marvin Ridge HS) on his commitment to Wingate University. Congrats to Byron and his family, as well as the staff at Marvin Ridge.

    Congrats B-Dog.. Always enjoyed watching him play. Hated to face him when he was at the plate. Great young man!

    I am very proud of Byron....I've had the pleasure of coaching him for 4 years and I knew he was going to be a special player when he stepped on the field as a freshman. Wingate is getting a great player,great leader and an even better kid.

    Congratulations Byron and to your family. You will absolutely love Wingate baseball. As much as I mention Coach Oz, Coach Gregory is the backbone on the staff. He's a quality coach and an even better man.

    The great thing is you will be prepared after playing for Coach Mennitt--he's as good as they come.

    Way to go Byron! Congrats to you, your family, Wingate and On Deck. All deserving... a good kid, a good family, a good college and a good organization. Well done all!
