    I really want thank everyone for the happy birthday wishes. It really shows how caring the softball family is. Alot of players and parents really stood by me when my Mother passed away, when my sister had her stroke and the support that was giving to Kendayl during her battle last summer. It is something that I will never forget.

    Most people know that this will be the last year for the Cobras and I just wanted to reflect a little on the past. The BLUES, CURVE, DOBBERS, CAPE FEAR STORM, DOMINATORS, SW STORM, CARDINALS, DAZZLE, WIZARDS, FLAMES, LIGHTNING,CHALLENGERS,BOMBS, CV STORM, MIXED FORCES; Just to name a few, are teams that we would met on a weekly basis either NSA, AAU, ASA, USSSA. Man, we really had some incrediable games with those teams. I have so much respect for the players and coaches of all these teams. The friendships I have made through this great sport is something that I will never forget. It will be a sad for me when the first of August rolls around. The relationship that I have made with my players is very special to me. I hope that all coaches realize how special it is when you have young ladies to call you Coach, that is a very special title to have. NC softball has come along and it is because of people like RODNEY, RAY AND CHARLIE DOBBINS just to name a few. Good luck to all the high school and travel teams this year.

    I have to say one more thing, NUT you and GURU are the KINGS of softball. :king: :king:

    Well the other half always says I'm obsessed, bet Guru's does too.It's really going to be an exciting yr for the Cobras , & I'm really excited bout it, but I also hate it will be the last. I remember starting up a 12u team, playing 1 tour, & grabbing a Cobra tryout tag at an AAU tour. Finding out a few things, decided to take Mo for the tryout. That was probably the biggest, & best decision I ever made for Morgans softball career. There are alot of good coaches out there who are good people, but Charlie Blackwelder is one of the best coaches, and persons that I know. He cares about all his girls, has confidence in each one, & they respect each other tremendously ! He is a proven winner.It has been one heckuva ride through all the yrs. The last two seasons have been the most exciting, playing some really good competition, & being competitive against teams from all over the country. East coast is catching up fast with West coast, believe it. It will be a sad day when it's over, but for now, I'm gonna really enjoy this last season, it's gonna be a Blast !!!!!!!!! Sorry to drag this out, again Happy B-day Charlie :birthday2:
