    Adam Griffin

    I played against Adam when i was 13 and 14 but have not seen him play since then. Does he really live up to the hype they put on him? I know the kid has a 94 MPH fastball which will wow anybody but what else has the kid got?

    Mayhew is doing great. Looks as if he has worked his way into the starting rotation after coming out of the bullpen early. He had two outstanding outings recently against Parkland and Davie. WS Journal listed him at 4 -0 after a complete game shutout against (2 hitter) Davie County HS last week.

    I have coached against Ryan and Adam and both of these kids are very good baseball players. They are also very good and polite kids off the field. Mikal said that he would enjoy being around them if they did not play baseball, so that tells me alot about them. As far what else does Adam bring, "Devil Ace" how about competitor on the field, athletic, a true baseball player, and finally a verbal commitment to UNC-Chapel Hill. That should speak for itself.

    Keth Little - mooresville. 4-0 i believe, 1 hit East Rowan, aloowed 3 runs in 5 inn. last night against NWC, did not see final.
