Hausley commits to App. St.

    Mountaineer Illustrated.com reports that McDowell forward Petey Hausley has offically committed to Appalachian State University. According to reports Petey has really been impressed with the staff and facilities at App. St and so he decided to make it official before basketball season starts. If there are any basketball fans out there who haven't seen this kid play, I highly suggest that you come out and see him play this year. Not only is Petey a great player but he is a class act. Petey and his teammates supplied McDowell County with a lot of exciting moments this past season and I feel like we may see some more this year. Way to go Petey...:clap:

    Congrats

    Congratulations to Petey, as a fan of the NW4A it is good to see a guy with a lot of talent going to a Program which is on the rise. Hope to see some great games this year in the conference.

    Size?

    How big is this kid? The Apps will have Donte Minter 6'8" 250 back this year, and newcomer Isaac "Ike" Butts a frosh from Ga Military is 6'10" 295 and they say has great feet and balance.

    Hausley is a 6'6" post, while maybe a bit undersized his heart and determination more than makes up for it. Petey should get plenty of PT as a freshmen in 08.

    he's fast too, and plays like he's about 6'8" or so. a great addition for ASU
