Head Softball Coaches

I know a High School coach who practices the Varsity and JV teams together everyday, around 25 players, but only practices them for 1.5 hours at the most. Practice consists of pitching machine on the field, pitching machine in the cage, hit infield and go home. No live batting practice, no hitting drills, no fielding drills. Coaches leave practice early several days a week or just practice 1 hour at the most (remember JV and varsity together, 25 players) and go home. They have players pick up trash/rocks etc. during practice, not before, not after but during and that is part of the 1.5 hour practice. Kids are very flustrated! The coaches lock the field, lock the bull pen area and batting cage up tight with a chain and lock so kids can not go work on their own to improve. Very sad to see because there is a good group of players on this team.
