Cary Post 67 is headed out west for 2 games in early June. We are takin a bus out there along with Garner Post 232. We play Hickory on June 6th, and Shelby on June 7th. Garner plays Shelby on the 6th and Hickory on the 7th. We are stayin overnight in Hickory on the 6th then comin home after the games on the 7th (late night gettin' home!). But Garner Post 232 and Cary Post 67 are bringin a Charter Bus full of eastern baseball to the western side. What can I expect from the Legion ball out there? Ive been to games at Rowan Co. and at Cherryville (uncle coaches Garner and they played there a few times over the last few years.) One thing I remember is that there are a lot of people who come to the games. Will Hickory and Shelby have packed houses?

Eastern Baseball comin out West. I can't wait.

JM-- all those teams are very strong with their Legion programs. They get a lot of support and most games are broadcasted on radio. I know for a fact that Cherryville and Shelby are tough places to play for opponents...and yes, there will be a lot of fans attending.....it's the only game in town

    it's here.

Tonight: @ Apex (7:00... our Rival in HS ball, and somewhat Legion rival)

    Fri. night: @ Hickory

Sat. night(?): @ Shelby (not sure about gametime)

I am really lookin' forward to comin out west tomorrow. I can't wait to see what it's like. Come out to the games if you get a chance. We will be missin a few players I think because of UNC-Chapel Hill orientation or somethin like that, but come see us if you are in the Area. Garner Post 232 is playin @ Shelby Friday and @ Hickory on Friday.

Hey, if we crank up the TBR bus and drive over to Shelby are you going to come over and mingle with the TBR crew?

Quite honestly, this is a tough weekend to get away...State finals HS...Showcases and UNC vs USC Super regionals....and I have tickets to all three
