Going to watch 3 Carolina girls compete against each other. Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) will host Brevard CC in Melbourne for a double header on Sunday. Junior Danielle Healy (Durham School of the Arts) plays for FIT and Freshmen Olivia Peavey (Jordan Matthews) and Alex Ryan (Fuquay Varina) play for BCC. Weather looks to be 80 during the day and 68 at night...may take one long pair of pants and one long sleeve shirt, but I don't know why. Hopefully I will be able to spend a lot of time down there in February!!

Tell Olivia and Alex I said hey. Don't know the other girl. Hope they're doing well there. I know they are, though; they're great kids!

Actually BCC played Weber Inernational and FIT. BCC won the Weber game 6 - 1 behind great pitching from Alex Ryan. Olivia Peavey came in and closed the game out in the last inning. BCC won he FIT game 9 - 0 behind more great pitching from Olivia Peavey. Alex Ryan came in and closed the game out in the last inning for a combined no-hitter I believe. Danielle Healy played well for FIT in centerfield. I know she had at least one hit in their game with Weber and played solid defense all day. Weather was around 82 degrees, but the wind was blowing pretty good....I am going to miss the 65 degree nights!!!
