    The field is set for the Halloween weekend event at Lander College, Erskine College and Presbyterian College. Which of these teams is the scariest?

    Heat 2009
    Heat 2010
    Heat 2011
    South Charlotte Panthers
    South Carolina Mets
    RBI Bandits of Wilson NC
    South Charlotte White Cougars
    South Charlotte Blue Cougars
    Carolina Twisters
    Prepstars of Greensboro NC
    Gastonia Showcase

    Good teams = good games

    Initial reports from the umpires were that the games and teams were very competitive and of course the fans loved the great weather. Hope someone can post some game details soon?

    Details on the 2 lefty pitchers anyone?

    Heard that the Heat 09 and the Wilson Bandits played a great 1-0 game.

    Great game. A triple in the sixth by Jeff Howell and then a base hit behind him from Brantley Blalock was the only run scored in the game. Seven inning game lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes. The Heat 09 pitcher was Tyler Coyle (West Forsyth) who is committed to UNC Asheville. He gave up only one hit. Do not know the name of the pitcher from the Bandits who pitched very well giving up only 4 hits.

    Not sure how you took the showcase, Did you win all of your games or something? Give details to your performance as I don't think they gave out trophies.

    Most Showcase tournaments don't have a winner! At least all the ones we have played in! Could be wrong I quess.
    As you said, "took it" , ..... I took it as you won the tournament!
    Tough to do when another team wins all their games as well!
