HELP!!! Morganton Tournament Info 3/28/9

    I would like some info about this tournament. I think I would like to go up and take some photos if I can get permission. I would also like to know teams and times. Also, let me know about any other weekend high school tournaments that I can photograph. I have The Tiffany Crouse Memorial on my calendar already.

    Catawba Meadows Park in Morganton
    Exit I-40 at exit #103 onto 64 North (turn right off west bound ramp and left off east bound ramp).
    Go to 3rd red light at intersection with Flemming Bypass (just in front of the football field at the NC School for
    the Deaf). Turn left onto Fleming Bypass. Stay on the Bypass and go through second red light crossing highway
    181. After passing highway 181, the field is 1/2 mile on the left

    Might want to check with the individual teams. If I'm not mistaken we went to this (or very similiar event) at Morganton last year. A friend tried to take some pictures and the umpire asked he either put away the camera or leave. He told us to photograph without affliation to one of the competing times was a violation of NCHSAA rules. I first thought he was kidding, but he was dead serious.

    erms, all I can find in the NCHSAA rules is this:



    Sure looks like an anti-scouting provision, which should have no bearing a photographer not afiliated with any team.
