    Sunday's Game:

    Henderson County 7. Caldwell 3

    Chris White went 4 1/3 for Henderson County giving up 2 runs and Chris Zimmerman went the final 4 2/3 giving up 1.

    Russell Reid started for Caldwell going 4+ innings giving up 6. Baumgarner relieved him and did a nice job shutting the Henderson County bats down til they got a single run off him in the bottom of the 8th.

    Series now tied 1-1 and moving back to Caldwell Mon Nite.

    Correct score...

    The game was close until the bottom of the 8th when Caldwell unloaded for 5 runs. Four errors didn't help the Henderson County cause.

    Caldwell now leads the series 2-1 and Game 4 is at East Henderson High School Tuesday Night at 7 pm.

    I can tell you that Josh Leyshon went the distance for Caldwell County and Russell Reid hit two HRs. TJ Wilson also had a HR for Caldwell.

    Game 4 is at East Henderson at 7pm Tuesday night.

    Caldwell County looked good last night. And the two Grand Slams were mammoth shots by Bentley. The thought of Caldwell thus far is they had really good pitching, but truely the hitting is starting to come around too.

    Congrats to Coach Gary Hamby on the series and getting rid of the semi-final demons that had plagued them in the last few years.

    Starting in Charlotte:
    Take I-85 South,
    Take US 321-N apprx 40 miles (past I-40, past Hickory, NC) to Granite Falls.
    When you see Valley Chevrolet, Winn Dixie and Hardees turn LEFT on Pinewood Rd and go 0.2 mi
    Turn LEFT at the next light (N Highland Ave) and go 0.7 mi
    Take a LEFT on N Main and go apprx 0.2 mi and Granite Falls Middle School will be on the right.
    Pass the school and take an immediate RIGHT up the hill behind the school.

    location of Pineville/Caldwell Co. game?

    Location on Pineville's website says High Shoals Middle School?????

    Need a clarification on where this game is to be played and directions there (if it is not M.S. Deal).
