    Some years back we had an umpire call 9 balks in two games during a 13 yr. old tourney in Concord. Later that weekend we had some rain, then a delay. Grounds crew comes out to work on the mound. This same umpire toes the rubber and goes into a windup to test the footing. The crowd remembered this guy and immediately went into a chant of "Balk, Balk, Balk". We al got a good laugh out of it.
