Hi folks what's up?

Game coverage isn't really what I'm looking for I'm looking for human interest stories for teams still playing in the postseason. Good human interest is something different: drama, overcoming adversity, etc. Hitting .300 is not a human interest story. Everyone has that. Not everyone has someone who's grandfather dies on Friday and has her house robbed Friday night.

 

We have plenty of eyes on area baseball, trust. I didn't know I was getting bashed on the Whiner Line. What are they saying I did now? Hope they pronounced my name correctly though.

 

Well, we did do the story you talked about, but the problem truthfully is this: There were six championship games that day. There's probably no way we could get six headlines and six stories done on a Thursday paper.

The SW and M6 were at same place. If QC was there, too, it would've helped us. We did plan a roundup that night to include the other two and made calls, I'm told, to set it up but the calls didn't come or they came in very late.

We did try to come back Friday and talk about what happened, but you're right we need to figure out a better way to do things. The coaches and ADs could help us though by scheduling on a different day than the other two.

 

I saw the article in yesterday's paper and it was very good.
