Hibriten in Trouble?????

I know more about this situation than you, I'll leave it at that. It's over and done with as far as Hibriten is concerned. Please move on to talking about how AC is going to win the state title.

 

It has been handled by the Hibriten coaching staff from what I am told. I would trust that in addition to the action taken that the player and or players involved will not see action this week. If they play, the discipline did not go far enough IMO. I think that Coach Cannon is a stand up kind of guy and will do the right thing in the right way. It's a heck of an opportunity to teach a life lesson that might make a difference in some young men who made a bad decision.

 

Wrong thread to talk about State Titles.. And the state title talks in all honesty for any school or program right now are way premature.

 

With your closeness to the situtation yes you probably do know more about it than me, because I know nothing other than what was printed courtsey of the HDR. I heard rumors about what happened but chose not to follow up on those rumors until it was a know FACT. Congrats for the matter being handled & discipline handed out, and yes I'll move on.

Alexander has had to sit out a player(s) for team reason this year on a couple of occasions.

And I'm not someone who has ever spoken out that Alexander is going to win state, I'll settle for a Conference Championship. Frankly Hickory for some reason has me concerned.

 

Is one game enough for vandalism?? i dont think so but its not my call just saying that criminal activity probaly should be 2-3 games not sure how any one else feels about this but one game is no more then a slap on the wrist.Just my opinion! i dont know the situation

 

I am not certain that the players in question are being suspended. They certainly should be. Hibriten has been very quiet about the situation and I understand that. These are young kids we are talking about.

 

I agree i dont think any names should be released or charges pressed but i beleive the kids responsible should get a minium 2 game suspension. The fact their playing well shouldnt get the kids off the hook.. but oh well not my school so i really aint worried about it. Just wandering if they were being punished.

 

I'm not in the loop at Hibriten but being from the same county I do hear some. From what I've heard it has never been proven that the hibriten boy actually vandilized anything just that some speculated it was them. If no one was proven to have done it makes it pretty hard to punish anyone. No dog in the fight but talk i hear is no one has been found to be the culprit so no way to punish anyone

 

We had an open date tonight so I went up and caught the Hibriten and watagua game. I don't think Hibriten is in trouble losing their starting QB. The one tonight threw a couple TD's ran at least one long one in. That guy is super fast too. Looked to be the fastest guy on the field. I think the final score was Hibriten 55 Wat. 14

 

I found out tonight that it was 3 players (who i will not mention names) and they were all 3 suspended for tonights game. All three were starters. It is over and done with now as far as HHS is concerned.
